These images are thumbnails of photos taken from Riyaz's two Nikon DSLR Cameras.
Uploaded automatically using a Wifi enabled SD card or uploaded from Apeture from a Mac.
This web application allows him to rename the file after they have been recieved by the web-app, create a database entry for ones he wishes to display on here and create a thumbnails for those made public. It was originally created as a photography workflow solution while working as a paparazzo (singular of paparazzi) photographer.

Riyaz is a Photographer, Digital Media Engineer and a php developer. Working for a famous media company during the day, and working on web projects/doing photo shoots/paparazzi work when not in the office! Riyaz is looking to do more photo shoots, and is offering weekend shoots for free (for a limited time).

| The new addition! Loving my new 35mm lens. Arrived home late, so took some indoor abstracts... This lens is a cracker... not as good as my 50mm, but loving the results. Wider angle means I could work in a smaller space. Will check out how distorted images could become in some test photos later... |
| Nikkor 35mm F/1.8 lens... I've finally decided on getting the Nikkor 35mm F/1.8 lens. Arriving tomorrow. If only I had a studio to use it in another shoot. Since the weather is great, perhaps an outdoor shoot is in order! Anyone for an outdoor shoot? I'm going to look for some nice locations! |
| Loss of the SW London studio I've now suspended studio shoot activities as I no longer have one! Im looking for another. If you know of a small office or studio flat which has a main room measuring 15x20 feet, that's available to rent, please let me know. Then my he shoots may resume. I may even celebrate this with 10 free studio shoots! |

| 50mm lens I've a new 50mm lens I wish to test on a willing subject. A lens with a F-stop of 1.8 means it has a large aperture, and can create images with a very shallow depth of field: in other words only items within a narrow distance from the camera lens will be in focus... anything in front or behind would be out of focus or blurred. This can be used to draw attention to the subject and blur the background away. If there are lights sources in the background, you can create shapes out of them.... This is where Bokeh comes in... and that is something i can explain to you some other time :-) |
